Jessica Simpson has been dumped – via text message. Her romance with Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine came to an abrupt end with the text message, “Really busy. Need space”. Apparently it was the beginning of the end when Adam ditched their date on Valentine’s Day. He never explained why, but when she later got the message, Jessica told her best friend, “I just got dumped”. [10 March 2006]
