‘American Idol”s newest addition Jennifer Lopez only recently signed the $12 million contract as the new judge, but is reportedly already causing disagreements with fellow stars. Host Ryan Seacrest was the first to suggest J-Lo to the Idol franchise when they needed a new panellist, but the pair have apparently been fighting ever since about everything from dressing rooms to who gets the highest billing. An insider says Ryan is “starting to regret it because Jennifer’s acting like she’s a much bigger star than he is. Ryan knows the diva behaviour is likely to get worse before it gets better. Producers are trying to get them to make peace, but their egos are both pretty big.” Long-time judge Randy Jackson has also taken on a new role with ‘American Idol’ – he is to replace Simon Cowell as the ‘mean judge’ and will now occupy Simon’s former seat at the table. “Randy has stepped up his game and is being more blunt and bottom line,” a spy reports. “He’s definitely not wishy-washy.”
