Goldie Hawn is not proud

Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn admits she has “never” been proud of her work.

The 66-year-old actress – who has starred in numerous hit films including Private Benjamin and Death Becomes Her – has rarely had time to reflect on her career as she has been too busy “doing it”.

In an interview with Stylist magazine, she said, “I’ve never looked at anything with pride. If I made something, it was because it had a heart and soul and a social relevance.”

Private Benjamin – women in relationships that aren’t working. Protocol – manipulation and lies in Washington. I never thought, ‘I’m going to trailblaze or prove that women can be producers.’”

“At the end of the day I can look back and say, ‘That was pretty cool, Goldie. Way to go girl.’ But at the time I never gave it a thought. I was just too busy doing it,” she explains.

Goldie’s main focus in life is her family and she “loves” nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren Wilder (4), 23-month-old Bodhi, Ryder (8) and eight-month-old Bingham.

The blonde star, who has been in a relationship with Kurt Russell for 29 years, said, “The potential of a child is so great, if one would only pay attention to that. But of course having my grandchildren has only made life better. I love them. They are fabulous.”

Goldie has three children – Oliver Hudson (35), Kate Hudson (32) and Wyatt Russell (25).
