Celebrities have rallied around newly bald pop princess Britney Spears as she recovers in a Los Angeles rehabilitation centre.
‘Sweet Escape’ singer Gwen Stefani says, “I used to live in the same area as Britney for a while. I just want to scoop her up and give her a kiss. I hope she’s all right. She’s just had a new baby and I hope she can enjoy it because it’s an incredible thing.”
Gwen adds, “She looks good with her hair shaved off.”
Rocker Courtney Love also sends Britney her support. The former Hole frontwoman says, “I think that was a cool thing she did – I’m dead serious.”
Even Britney’s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake reckons she’s still cool. The ‘SexyBack’ singer says, “It was a smart choice. She is starting over – cleaning herself up. It was something you wouldn’t expect most people to do. She is taking a chance.”
However, several celebs at a post-oscars party couldn’t resist making fun of Britney. Leonardo DiCaprio, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Biel joined in the rendition of a medley of Britney songs – including ‘Toxic’ and ‘(You Drive oe) Crazy’ – while pretending to shave their heads.
