Britney Spears’ new song ‘Hold It Against oe’ debuted just last week, and it seems it has made a big impact on a few people – although not in the way she was hoping for! The 29-year-old pop star is being accused of plagiarism and is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit.
American singers the Bellamy Brothers claim that her song that is too close to their 1979 hit, ‘If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against oe’. Their hit topped the charts in six countries, and now David and Howard Bellamy are set to meet with lawyers.
David (60) says, “Howard and I have no personal beef with Britney. She’s a talented gal. But professionally we feel completely ripped off. We will take the appropriate action if our attorneys agree.”
