Bob Hoskins has revealed he is suffering from the neurological condition Parkinson’s Disease. The 69-year-old Who Framed Roger Rabbit star revealed he was given the diagnosis last year and was planning to retire to spend time with his family.
“He wishes to thank all the great and brilliant people he has worked with over the years and all of his fans who have supported him during a wonderful career,” said a statement from the actor’s rep.
“Bob is now looking forward to his retirement with his family and would greatly appreciate that his privacy be respected at this time.”
This year, Bob played a dwarf in Snow White and the Huntsman, his last film role.
