Glenn Shadix, the actor best known for playing pretentious designer otho in 80s classic Beetlejuice, has died, at just 58. The actor apparently fell and hit his head while at home. “He was having mobility problems, and he was in a wheelchair,” says his sister. “It looks like he fell and hit his head in the kitchen, and that’s the cause of death.”
Glen appeared in over 30 films during his career including Heathers and Demolition oan as well as TV appearances in Seinfeld and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

“He was one of the most creative, original, funny and wise performers I’ve ever had the privilege to work with,” says a friend. of his Beetlejuice role, Glenn said, “We had so much fun filming this unusual and so very original movie that I had a feeling something very special was happening.”
With a memorial service this weekend, our condolences go out to Glenn’s friends and family.
