Arnie wants to terminate leg pain

Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted he is in constant pain after undergoing surgery on his broken leg last month – contradicting statements from his office that he is “feeling great”. The actor-turned-California Governor had a 90-minute operation on his right femur in December, where surgeons used cables and screws to repair the bone following a skiing accident three days earlier. But despite taking time off from official engagements to recover from his ordeal, the `Terminator’ star is struggling to regain a clean bill of health. He says, “I don’t think I can remember ever having had pain – ongoing pain, 24 hours a day – like after this operation. So this is really annoying to me. The only time when I don’t have pain is when I work.” [15 January 2007]
