Sex and the City actress Kristin Davis has reportedly adopted her second child

Congratulations are in order!

Actress Kristin Davis, 53, best known for her portrayal of Charlotte York on HBO’s Sex and the City, has reportedly adopted a baby boy.

Sex and the City fans will be delighted to hear Davis has apparently adopted – just like her sweet and romantic character, Charlotte.

Who could forget the tear-jerker moment in the Sex and the City finale when Harry and Charlotte found out they would be welcoming a baby to their family via adoption?

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Former E! News entertainment journalist, Marc Malkin, reported that Davis had adopted a son.

“Kristin Davis is expanding her family.

“I can exclusively reveal that the “Sex and the City” star has adopted a baby boy,” the journalist announced.

Davis, who is also known for her extensive charity work – including working with organisations such as The UN Refugee Agency and David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, is also mum to daughter, Gemma Rose, 7, who she adopted in 2011.

Speaking to People magazine after adopting Gemma, the actress said:

“This is something I have wanted for a very long time. Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed.”

The actress and philanthropist has not confirmed or spoken about her new son’s arrival.
