5 Ways to get back-to-school ready

If the idea of another year of lost lunchboxes and mismatched uniforms fills you with fear, these tips might help.

Feeling overwhelmed about what organise before school starts?

You are not alone. With the new school term right around the corner, here are five ways you can help your family get organised for school (and hopefully avoid a visit to the Lost Property Box at the end of term!).

Uniforms

All those white school shirts can end up looking the same when they come out of the washing machine in a tangled pile. By choosing an iron on label you can quickly and easily sort the washing and retrieve lost items after school sports day.

Stationery

Labelling school books, pencil cases, pencils and other stationery is one of those tasks that will keep your kids busy in the school holidays… leaving you more time to put your feet up (yeah right!). Stuck On You has a handy range of durable Mini Name Labels, the perfect size for labelling pencils, textas, crayons, glasses cases, smartphones, lids, small containers and other fiddly items that can easily go missing. These come in packs of 50 or 100, measuring a tiny 46.6mm x 6.6mm each so they will fit on almost anything.

School shoes

Choosing a waterproof label will help make sure your child doesn’t come home minus a shoe. Think about using bright colours – or even a picture, rather than their name, if they are very young. It can help kids tell their left from right as well.

Allergies

Unfortunately, food allergies are commonplace among school kids these days. Stuck On You has released a range of allergy labels that highlight wheat, nut, dairy, egg and seafood reactions. These are a great way to alert teachers, carers, parents and your children’s friends of their allergy. The big, bold shapes and colours can also remind children to be careful about sharing food with friends.

Lunchboxes

Large Round Name Labels are a perfect size for food containers, and you can order these printed with both a first name and surname. Clear Labels have a transparent background and you simply choose the colour and font of the text. These are a lovely “grownup” option for older children because you don’t need to add a cute design icon.
