10-year-old Molly Brown stars in the YouTube video, where she can be seen pirouetting through the ruined city, showing areas of construction and new builds.

Showcasing her impressive dance skills as well as how the city is recovering since the 2011 earthquake, little Molly’s video has had thousands of views since being published online.

Her mother, Trudy Brown, told Stuff that they just wanted to show the world what Christchurch citizens continue to put up with following the devastating natural disaster.

“Everyone thinks it’s back to normal,” she said.

“There were so many places we could’ve chosen. The part outside the Cathedral was definitely the best.”

Molly was just five when the earthquake hit the city, killing 185 people. But despite her young age, Molly had already been dancing for two years.

She now puts in 18 hours a week at the Levings School of Dance, has starred in the UK production of Annie and been a runner up on The One talent search in 2014.

We’re sure this little star is set to go places in years to come!
