When Viarni Bright accepted Zac Franich’s final rose on The Bachelor New Zealand, the giddy new couple had no idea what their future would hold – but six months later and the reality TV lovebirds are happier than ever.
Jetting to tropical Rarotonga on their first romantic trip abroad, the couple – who fell head over heels on the third season of The Bachelor New Zealand – reflect on just how far they’ve come as a couple.
“V and I love what we have,” the surf-lifesaving coach Zac, 28, tells us. “We’ve really found our rhythm as a couple. We are always laughing and smiling when we are together.”
Indeed, life couldn’t be better for the bronzed beach babes, who since the show, have bonded over their love of adventure sports, indie music and good food.
While the romance is still alive and well, their relationship – which is filled with love, trust and hilarity – has faced its challenges.
Zac and his flame-haired sweetheart are candid about the time it took to adjust to life away from the cameras on the Three reality series, with Viarni, 23, revealing, “We found the first month quite overwhelming.”
But there is no such niggles anymore as the smitten pair gear up for their first Christmas as a couple and a long, hot summer spent beach-hopping around the North Island.
