This Father’s Day, treat that special person in your life with a delicious mezze platter using Obela’s wide range of dips. This stunning platter will invigorate taste buds and form the centrepiece to an epic day spent with the people you love.

What you’ll need:

Dips

  • Obela Roasted Pine Nut Hommus

  • Obela Sweet Beetroot Hommus

  • Obela Moroccan Sweet Potato Dip

  • Obela Basil Pesto, Pecorino & Cashews Deli Style Dip

  • Obela Classic Tzatziki Dip

To build the rest of your platter, add in things like:

  • Assorted cheese

  • Assorted antipasto such as gherkins, olives, sun dried tomatoes, capers, pickled onions

  • Assorted crackers and bread

  • Falafel

  • Fresh vegetables and herbs

  • Seasonal fruits

For the pita pizzas:

  • Pita pockets

  • A selection of tomatoes, seasoned and roasted

  • Your choice of Obela hommus or dip base

  • Rocket

  • Fresh herbs – we’ve used basil and dill here

  • Red onions, chopped

  • Kalamata olives, stone discarded, roughly chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Arrange all grazing platter and flatbread pizza ingredients attractively.

  2. Start by placing your largest items down first. Fill in gaps with smaller items, crackers and bread*.

  3. Assemble the pita pizza in front of guests, topping with their favourite hommus, roasted tomatoes, salad leaves, onion, olives and herbs, then finish with a drizzle of tzatziki.

  4. Serve accompanied with your favourite drinks and enjoy.

*Pita pockets are best pre-toasted with a little drizzle of olive oil.
