Want to know the secrets behind Thor’s famous superhero physique?
Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth is launching a brand new fitness and wellbeing app Centr, which will give users the opportunity to access the same team of experts that he’s been working with for years – if it’s worked for him, you can count us in!
Set to launch on February 4, the personalised app works as a weekly planner incorporating everything from daily workouts, healthy meal plans and even mindfulness and meditation exercises – all curated by Chris and his superstar team of experts which include everyone from his personal trainer Luke Zocchi to yoga and meditation teacher Ally Bogard.
“It’s not a diet. It’s not a boot camp. It’s not just weight loss either. There are meal plans and snacks you’ll actually love, workouts you’ll look forward to, and practical techniques to keep your head in the game,” the app is described on its Apple App Store page.
Alongside a promo video posted on his Instagram, which features beautifully shot clips of him and his wife of eight years Elsa Pataky working out, doing yoga and having an incredibly healthy looking barbeque on the beach, the vegan actor wrote that he “couldn’t be more excited” to share the project he’d been working on for a number of years.
“My goal was to build a program that takes the guesswork and excuses out of training, eating and living well,” Chris writes.
“@CentrFit gives you access to the same team of world-class experts in health and well-being that I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from over the years, and who have inspired me to live a healthier and happier life…
“Hope you can join us @CentrFit…”
The launch of the app follows the announcement earlier this week that he’s been signed as the newest global ambassador for Australian skincare and supplements brand Swisse.
Late last year the humble Aussie actor revealed he feels uncomfortable about his net worth as he’s concerned about how it might affect his children.
“The fact that we have money and their parents are famous, that somehow they’re special, that scare me because we grew up with no money,” he told GQ.
Chris said he and Elsa want to ensure they have a grounded upbringing where they have appreciation and respect for things.
Chris will again star as the Avenger, Thor in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Avengers: Endgame, which is set to be released in April.
