Rogue builders have shared their horror stories from The Block – and they aren’t just about bills going unpaid!
“It was damaging for our business and we were led to believe the experience would be great exposure,” an unnamed tradie tells Woman’s Day. “We had no idea how much the show would build us into their storylines.
“None of us signed up to be ‘talent’ or have so much screen time. We will be warning other builders to steer clear of any opportunities to come and work on The Block next year.”
Their claims have prompted speculation the show may now struggle to secure local builders when it returns to filming in Daylesford, rural Victoria, later this year for the new series.
