Louise Wallace’s love connection

The Housewives star gets real about her long-time love
Louise Wallace, Real Housewives of Auckland

Friendships may fluctuate on The Real Housewives of Auckland, but when the cameras stop rolling there is one person Louise Wallace can always rely on – her husband of 33 years, Scott.

Indeed, away from the controversy and the drama, the savvy and straight-talking reality star is very content with her lot – her loving hubby and their two beautiful children, Guy, 22, and Ashley, 25.

Watch Louise and Angela spill the beans about the show with our A-List Insider Dom Bowden. Story continues below.

“We’re so compatible,” says Louise, 56, of her and Scott’s everlasting love. “We’re absolute best friends and we never run out of things to say to each other.”

The duo first met at college – Louise was sitting behind her to-be hubby in a lecture theatre when they sparked up an instant friendship. A year later they were a couple and in 1983, advertising guru Scott plucked up the courage to get down on bended knee.

While the 57-year-old admits his proposal wasn’t the most intimate moment – he popped the question during a horror film – it certainly hasn’t dimmed the romance. After more than three decades together, Scott adores his wife, and isn’t the least bit surprised at how well she is coming across on the Bravo series.

“What you’re seeing is the real Louise,” he says. “An intelligent woman who knows what she’s doing and saying, how she looks and how she wants to be seen.”
