Zara and Mike Tindall are expecting their second child, the couple have announced.
The Queen’s granddaughter had a disappointing 2016, after being overlooked for the selection process for Rio 2016.
But it seems her luck has changed in the final few weeks of the year, as she and her rugby player beau are set to welcome their second child together.
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said the queen is “delighted” with the news.
Zara, 35, already has a three-year-old daughter with Mike, and is apparently due with her next baby in English spring.

During her first pregnancy, Mrs Tindall carried on competing in equestrian events until she was several months pregnant. But this time around, the pregnancy will coincide perfectly with a break from the season.
The couple and their daughter Mia live on the Princess Royal’s Gatcombe Park country estate, which is in Gloucestershire. As such, Zara apparently plans to have her next child at the
Gloucestershire Royal Hospital – the local NHS hospital, and the same one her daughter was born at in 2014.
Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne, the only daughter of the queen, and Mark Phillips.
