Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning a royal tour of America in 2019

How exciting!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have some exciting news…

They’re heading to America!

We’ve just seen Harry and Meghan wow on their first tour as a married couple in Dublin, and now new reports from Us Weekly reveal that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are set to jet off on a royal tour of the United States of America.

Earlier this month, we saw the Duke and Duchess tour Dublin.

“They are so excited to head to the USA,” a palace insider shared.

This will be their first trip to the States since their May vows.

“Meghan is looking forward to introducing Harry to everything she loves about the USA.”

Meghan can’t wait to take her Prince to the States.

While there isn’t an official itinerary, it is expected the happy couple will visit some of Meghan’s favourite places.

“They are thinking New York, Washington, D.C. and California,” the insider shared.

“They’re working to finalise locations and venues.”

And the couple already have high hopes for their journey across the Atlantic, “Meghan and Harry want to solidify ties between the U.K. and the USA.”

“They want to highlight and foster these relationships.”

“And applaud the country’s innovators. During a stay in San Francisco they will meet with CEOs and female tech entrepreneurs to encourage their involvement in the industry.”

This will be their first trip to the States since their May vows.

We may even see the Duke and Duchess drop by their good pals the Obamas – to check out their Chicago-based foundation.

But before everything, Meghan is expected to head over to her former home by herself for a personal trip.

“She’s planning a personal, unofficial trip this summer to see family and friends,” another source shared. “She’ll go to New York, then L.A.”

Sounds like an exciting adventure for the newlyweds!
