Kate and William get playful at the polo

Horsing around at the polo, Kate and William showed their playful side

Prince William’s biggest fan helped him celebrate in style after his polo team won a charity match.

Proud wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, shared a sweet kiss with her husband after he triumphed in the Royal Charity Polo Cup, which raises awareness of 11 organisations supported

by the couple. The mum-of-three enjoyed a glass of bubbles on the sideline as she cheered William on.

As the pair arrived at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park, Kate was spotted giving William a gentle pat on his bottom. It’s something she’s done a lot recently, including at the King’s Scottish coronation ceremony in Edinburgh several days earlier and at Royal Ascot last month.

Body language expert Judi James says the playful interaction between Kate and William, both 41, shows the genuine affection the pair have for each other, as does the look of love the couple exchanged at the polo. She says while the couple are increasingly less reserved about PDAs (public displays of affection), William’s more self-conscious than his wife.
