The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in regal red on Tuesday to welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Madam Peng Liyuan, during their official state visit to England.

Kate was decked out in a resplendent red Jenny Packham gown to attend her first state banquet at Buckingham Palace, alongside her husband Prince William. The royal completed her elegant look with plenty of glamorous accessories, including the spectacular Lotus Flower tiara that was first worn by Queen Elizabeth’s mother in the 1920s.

The stunning headpiece features an assortment of pearls and diamonds and was previously worn by Kate during her wedding in 2011.
