Harry Styles is said to be the latest star joining the jam-packed film version of Absolutely Fabulous, based on the beloved television series starring Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley and due for release next year.
In a new interview with The Sun, Joanna let it slip that the singer would be her number one pick to pair up with her character Patsy Stone in the Ab Fab movie.
“I think Patsy would very much like to be paired up with Harry Styles, who wouldn’t?” she told the publication.
“He’s gorgeous, isn’t he?”
With One Direction recently announcing an extended hiatus starting next year, this could be the perfect opportunity for Harry to transition into the film industry. He’ll be joining a star-studded cast, which is rumoured to include Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian West, and Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
Ab Fab creator Jennifer Saunders has already confirmed British supermodel Kate Moss will be making an appearance in the film as well.
“She’s a big fan of the show and we’re pals, so – aside from the fact she’s the definitive model – it was a no brainer,” Jennifer toldThe Mirror earlier this year.
