Selena Gomez is the latest celebrity to take part in James Corden’s viral talk show segment Carpool Karaoke and it’s a scream!
The 23-year-old “Hands to Myself” singer decides to shake things up by dragging James along for a rollercoaster ride. We give them major credit for not only singing – and screaming – their way through the ride but for whipping out the dances moves too!
Then, after a very cute detour through a McDonalds’ drive-through, James brings up Selena’s famous friends.
“I want to talk to you about, and this isn’t up for debate, you are officially a member of The Squad, Taylor Swift’s Girl Squad,” says James.
“I like to consider myself an OG, like the original,” corrects Selena.
While The Late Late Show host tries to find out what actually happens in squad meetings – because who wouldn’t want to know? – James brings up something that is bothering him about her crew.
“I actually think the squad is a bit sexist. It’s about all being equals and yet no man has been asked to join the squad. I actually find it degrading to me,” says James, as he pretends to tear up.
Selena replies, “Do you now? Well I think this industry could do with a little female sexism. I think we have a right to be that way. It’s a lot harder doing what I have to do.”
