Superstar singer Sam Smith has revealed he will be undergoing vocal cord surgery next week, after earlier troubles caused him to postpone his Australian tour and cancel upcoming dates in Japan and the Philippines.
Sam took to Instagram to post an official statement on the surgery, revealing he was “getting really nervous” about his upcoming operation.
“But by doing this in 8 weeks time I’m gonna be able to sing like never before so it’s worth it,” he continued.
With a full roster of shows ahead for the Grammy-winning singer, we’re sure his fans will be hoping for a speedy recovery!
