Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed their second child together at the end of September, who joins 22 month old daughter James.
But since their new arrival the couple have remained tight lipped about the gender or name of the tiny tot – staying quiet on all their social media channels.
However it seems that father Ryan, 39, may have accidentally revealed the sex of his newborn, after typing a jokey tweet to fans.
“The mobile above my daughter’s crib is just a whole bunch of NuvaRings,” he tweeted. “So she remembers how lucky she is.”
Reynolds is renowned for his tongue-in-cheek parenting tweets, including such gems as: “Damn it’s hard letting your infant daughter go somewhere alone for the first time. I was a total mess dropping her off at Burning Man.”
In August he wrote: “Tinder isn’t a babysitting app. Apologies to Crystal and Janine for the misunderstanding.”
