Miranda and Orlando were married from 2010-2013.

Miranda Kerr has opened up about her “modern family” in a new interview with TV Week, revealing she still remains close with ex Orlando Bloom after their 2013 split.

The former couple, who share custody of their adorable five-year-old son Flynn, have kept things friendly even as both have moved on with new loves – Orlando with popstar Katy Perry, and Miranda with Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel.

Joking about the idea of the group all packing up and moving back to Miranda’s home country of Australia, the brunette beauty quipped, “I can’t really imagine [Orlando] wanting to live on a farm.

Can you imagine? Him and Katy Perry and me and Evan all in Australia on a farm?”

“We’re all close, though … We’re a modern family,” she added.

She also opened up further about how Flynn has bonded with Evan, revealing the duo enjoy building things together.

“They’ll build blocks or make robots. One time, they were in the playhouse and I came out, and Flynn had dressed him up and put a tiara on Evan. It was hilarious!” she reminisced.

The interview comes on the heels of Miranda’s cover story with Elle Canada, where she revealed that she “fell into a really bad depression” after separating from Orlando.

“I never understood the depth of that feeling or the reality of that because I was naturally a very happy person,” she said.

The model has previously revealed she fell into depression after splitting from ex Orlando.

The model eventually pulled through, focusing on the mantra that “every thought you have affects your reality and only you have control of your mind”.

She met her now-fiance, Evan, in 2014 and the pair began dating in June of the following year.

In July this year, Miranda took to social media to announce that they were engaged, sharing a cute photo of the pair’s cartoon alter-egos against a backdrop of the impressive sparkler on her ring finger.

This past weekend, Miranda and Evan celebrated their engagement with their loved ones at the Hotel Bel-Air, with one source telling E! News “the couple seemed really happy and in love”.

“Everyone was celebrating and having a great time. Miranda and Evan get along with each other’s friends perfectly.”

Social media snaps from the engagement party reveal that a glowing Miranda donned a strapless white gown to celebrate the occasion, with her short brown hair styled into simple tousled waves.

The venue was decorated with plenty of fresh flowers, with the source adding that the party was “classy and chic”.
