Just days after Miley Cyrus publicly declared herself to be bisexual, Woman’s Day revealed that the pop rebel was romancing Kiwi model Stella Maxwell. Now the singer has confirmed their relationship by sharing passionate kisses with her girlfriend on the set of her new music video.
Miley, 22, and Stella, 24, locked lips behind a trailer on the clip’s Hollywood set, with the model cupping her new love’s bottom in her hand. Onlookers say they were whispering into each other’s ears between kisses.
The previous week, Miley celebrated the US Supreme Court’s decision to make same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states by wearing a “Gay OK” badge. Now she and Stella are already heating up their brand new romance!
Stella seemingly confirmed the relationship with this picture on Instagram, captioned “chillen W my lady @mileycyrus”.
“Miley can’t stop talking about how in love she is and how she wants the whole world to know,” an insider reports.
While Miley’s parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus are conservative, they’ve met Stella and are said to approve of their daughter’s new squeeze. “They really like her,” says a Cyrus family insider.
“Miley dating girls is something they’ve had to get used to. It’s been an adjustment but not a huge shock because Miley’s always been so open.
Her parents are both on board because they see how happy Stella is making her. They’re happy that she’s happy and that’s all that matters to them.”
Stella was born in Belgium to Northern Irish parents, but she considers herself a New Zealander after spending her teens in Wellington and Dunedin. She jokes that she met Miley on gay dating app Grindr, but it was via Instagram that they first connected, shortly before the singer split from Patrick Schwarzenegger in April.
