The Bachelor host Mike Puru was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning, after a ruptured appendix left him in agony.
The host of the dating gameshow, plus TV3’s chat show The Café, revealed his trip to the emergency department in a series of tweets.
And despite the serious nature of his illness, Mike said he was most interested about bringing his charger to the hospital, so he could keep up-to-date with the Olympics.
Taking to his Twitter account on Monday afternoon, Mike wrote: “When you race into hospital at 1am for emergency surgery and all you care about is a charger so I can watch Olympics.”
