It turns out Mike, 49, is a true romantic when it comes to his gorgeous wife Kate! The Seven Sharp star and veteran broadcaster texts his wife loving messages every morning, and Kate, 41, says he’s “very extravagant” with his gifts as well.
Meanwhile, Kate returns the favour by creating her own thoughtful gifts for each anniversary and leaving her husband heartfelt notes around the home.
Together, the two are raising a blended family of five kids, with Kate taking charge at home while Mike juggles his work at Seven Sharp and his morning radio show on Newstalk ZB.
It’s a hectic routine, but the couple have got plenty of time earmarked for each other. Date nights are a regular part of their life, and they aim to travel together – without the kids – a couple of times every year.
“With a big, blended family, I think it’s essential to have some time just for the two of you,” Kate told Woman’s Day.
