After the devastating cancer diagnosis of three-year-old Noah Buble, the eldest son of Michael Buble and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, it has been reported that the toddler is suffering from liver cancer.

Spanish magazine Gente reports that Noah has started chemotherapy treatment which is expected to last four months, but has a 90 percent chance of beating the disease.

“Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this. We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it’s got to be done. They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior,” Noah’s aunt Daniele told the magazine.

The devastated parents were given the news on November 1st , after doctors performed a liver biopsy following an initial examination at a clinic in Buenos Aires.

Argentinian media had previously speculated Noah was suffering mumps when Luisana, 29, flew to the States at the end of last month.

Michael later broke the tragic news on his public Facebook page.

“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children,” he wrote.

“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.

“At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Michael and Luisiana are also parents to Noah’s little bother, ten-month-old Elias.

Earlier in the year, the proud dad spoke about the joys of fatherhood, telling E! News that being a dad to his two boys “defines” him.

“I love them more than I’ll ever love anything, or anyone in the whole universe.”

“I just want to be with them. I leave a lot, so when I can be there with them, that’s my true happiness.”

He also revealed parenting fears for his children’s wellbeing.

“You’re scared all the time because you love them so much that you can’t ever, ever think of a world without them.

“You try not to even think about it.”
