Lorde is also scheduled to perform on SNL soon after the mysterious dates teased on her social media.

Her wild brown curls have long been part of her signature look, but Lorde (otherwise known as Ella Yelich-O’Connor) debuted a different look on the red carpet on Monday.

Posing for the cameras at the 12th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, the Kiwi singing sensation showed off a slicked-back flat-ironed hairdo that was noticeably shorter than her usual long locks.

Wearing a sheer black dress over matching black pants from Givenchy, Lorde was in her element at the event, which boasted a glittering guest list made up of some of the biggest names in fashion.

After her turn on the red carpet, Lorde cosied up to model Karlie Kloss (another famous member of Taylor Swift’s squad) as well as fellow Givenchy girl Amanda Seyfried, who fronts a fragrance campaign for the label.

Lorde later took to Instagram to sing the praises of Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, who joined her and Amanda for a selfie during the event.

“Such a pleasure supporting @riccardotisci17 last night at the vogue fashion fund dinner,” Lorde wrote.

“This guy is an actual f***ing angel; so sweet and so funny,” she added.

While Lorde attended the Vogue event, her younger sister India recently nabbed her own feature in the November issue of Teen Vogue.

The 16-year-old revealed she often raids her older sister’s wardrobe, most recently borrowing a floral Dolce & Gabbana skirt for a trip to Los Angeles.

“I think one of the perks of having siblings is that everyone’s always there for one another, no matter where you are,” she told the magazine.

“And in the clothing department, you can basically take anything you want!”
