Instead of singing her hit “Homemade Dynamite” – an upbeat dance-pop track from her recently released second album Melodrama – live on stage, the Kiwi songstress performed an interpretive dance routine set to the music as it played in the background.

Donning a silver dress worn over grey sweat pants and sneakers, Lorde twirled and jumped energetically around the stage, joined by a group of backing dancers as they performed to the beat of the song.

Towards the end of the dance, Lorde was lifted up and carried through the air by several of the dancers before she finished the performance sprawled out on the stage.
