To millions of little girls and boys everywhere, Hollywood star Kristen Bell is best known as the voice of Princess Anna from the massive Disney hit Frozen.
Now, the actress has channelled her iconic character once again to help brighten up one young fan’s day with an extra special voice message, crowning her an “honorary princess” of Arendelle, the fictional kingdom in the film.
The fan, six-year-old Avery Huffman, was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). Hearing Kristen (as Princess Anna) on the phone made Avery’s “day/week/life”, her father Brandon wrote in an online journal post, and he added that she “was so excited” to play the message for her siblings too.
“Despite being incredibly busy, Kristen Bell took the time to make a little six-year-old girl’s day,” Brandon wrote in the post.
“It was awesome for Avery and us, and emotional for us as well,” he wrote.
In a heartwarming video capturing the phone call, little Avery’s whole face lights up as she hears Kristen’s thoughtful message. The Frozen actress even made sure to mention Avery’s pet bunny HoppyJumpy by name, which delighted the little girl even more.
