After rumours of a hook-up emerged last year, fans were left wondering whether Justin Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian were more than just friends – and during a recent appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show, Kourtney was forced to face up to the talk.
“Y’all are just friends, right? Or are you really dating him?” Ellen asked the reality star.
“We’re friends,” she confirmed, but Ellen noted that the 36-year-old couldn’t keep the smile off her face at the question.
“Why are you smiling that way? You’re smiling as if… maybe, it’s beyond friends,” Ellen continued, as Kourtney briefly hid her face behind her hands.
Kourtney, 36, and Justin, 21, have always insisted that there’s nothing more to their relationship, but their closeness has sparked talk of a fling in the past. Last year, the two were spotted leaving a California restaurant together and later snapped a selfie on Instagram wearing 3D glasses.
When Justin was asked about Kourtney during a radio interview earlier this month, he joked that the mum-of-three had “used” him, before adding that he and the whole family were simply long-time friends.
