Keira Knightley talks her fight against digital retouching

Keira Knightley had her own dare-to-bare moment with her topless photoshoot for Interview a few months ago, but as she told E! News, it was all about standing up to unrealistic expectations of women’s bodies.

In a previous interview with The Times of London, Keira revealed she wanted the pictures to remain un-retouched and free of any digital enhancement.

And as she spoke to E! on the red carpet a few hours ago, Keira explained her refreshing take on body image yet again.

“I do think in general … women’s bodies have become this kind of amazing battleground where there is nothing you can do right,” she shared.

“You’re either too thin or you’re too fat or you’re too tall or you’re too short. Every bit of you can be weird … it’s just kind of ridiculous.

“I think there’s a certain point where you just have to go, well we just have to start celebrating our differences. Otherwise I think body image can get very warped,” she said.
