Underworld star Kate Beckinsale has made her first public appearance following the rumours that she and husband Len Wiseman have separated.
The actress stepped out to attend the Evening Standard Theatre Awards at London’s The Old Vic Theatre yesterday, dressed in a floor-length gown that featured a plunging neckline.
Kate completed the look with a relaxed up-do and silver pumps, but her jewellery was stripped down to a pair of sparkling earrings and noticeably, the 42-year-old star wore no wedding ring on her finger.

While this isn’t the first time Kate and Len have been spotted without their rings, the couple have been at the centre of split rumours since Friday, when People reported the couple had been separated for several months.
Len, 42, has been seen with 24-year-old model CJ Franco on several occasions since the beginning of last month, but sources say there is no drama between him and Kate as that’s simply “not [her] style”.
“They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there,” a source told People.
“They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart.”
Kate, who is currently filming the next instalment of the popular Underworld film series in Prague, is said to be throwing herself into work and caring for her daughter since the split.
The actress has a 16-year-old named Lily, from a previous relationship with ex-partner Michael Sheen. Len and Kate first met each other in 2003 on the set of the first Underworld film, in which Michael also starred.
