Kaley, 29, formerly had the numbers 12-31-13 (the date of her wedding to Ryan) inked on her back in the form of Roman numerals, but now that the couple have officially split, it seems The Big Bang Theory actress is finally ready to move on.
The gorgeous star opted to have her ink covered up with a new tattoo, and she took to Instagram earlier today to share the results of her transformation.
“Note to self – do not mark your body with any future wedding dates,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself in the middle of the painful process, adding the hashtags #under30mistakes and #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids.
The actress showed she wasn’t afraid to poke fun at herself in the caption for the ‘after’ photo, revealing her new tattoo of a winged insect.

Kaley announced her split from Ryan on September 25 this year in a statement issued through a representative, describing the breakup as a mutual decision. Shortly afterwards, there were claims that Ryan was seeking spousal support from his estranged wife, who is said to earn $1 million per episode of The Big Bang Theory.
