Pop star Justin Bieber has accidentally injured a photographer, clipping them with his pickup truck after leaving a church in Beverly Hills.
Justin was driving slowly out of his parking space when he clipped the paparazzo with his front right side tire, in a moment that was captured on camera by TMZ.
After being made aware of what happened, Justin stopped the car, got out and stayed with the man until paramedics and police arrived, at which point he was seen talking to the police about what happened. Hillsong paster and Justin’s close pal Carl Lentz was also there to check everything was okay.
The photographer was reportedly taken to hospital with minor injuries. Justin has not been charged over the incident.
The news comes after the Canadian singer shocked fans by cancelling the remainder of his Purpose World Tour, which had 14 shows left to go.
On Monday, a statement on his official website announced the news, blaming “unforeseen circumstances”.
“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over the last 18 months.
“He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run.
“However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates.”
