Janet Jackson has confirmed the rumours she is expecting her first baby with a stunning photoshoot.
The singer, who is 50, appears in People magazine, cradling her growing baby bump.
“We thank God for our blessing,” says the singer, with a hand on her belly.
Rumours of the star’s pregnancy began earlier this year, when she cancelled a world tour, telling fans she and husband Wissam al Mana wanted to focus on their family.
“‘I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,’ she told fans in a video via social media.
“Please, if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
