James Rolleston is out of hospital and appears to be recovering well, following a car accident on July 26, which left the young actor critically injured.
The 19-year-old was seen on the set of the Jason Statham shark movie, Meg, last week.
The Boy star was taken along to the set of the film by his Dark Horse co-star, Cliff Curtis, who has a role in the film.
This outing is one of the first times James has been seen in public since the accident.
The Boy star was critically injured in a car accident after a car he was in with friend Kaleb Maxwell crashed into a bridge in East Opotiki.
The horrific crash required emergency services to cut James from the wreck. He was stabilised at the scene, then air-lifted to Tauranga Hospital in a critical condition. The badly injured actor was then transferred to the intensive care unit at Waikato Hospital.
James was reportedly discharged on August 31, and continued his recovery at an unnamed rehabilitation facility in Auckland.
Shortly before his discharge, the Waikato District Health Board described James as being in a “stable condition”.
His family told Stuff at the time of his discharge “James is progressing well on his road to recovery”.
