Jaden Smith writing “mystical” philosophy book

He’s been open about his philosophical views before, and now it seems Jaden’s ready to put pen to paper

According to Us Weekly, the 17-year-old actor/rapper is ready to share his thoughts with the world yet again with a new book in the works.

“Jaden sees himself as a modern-day prophet and is working on a collection of essays,” a source told the publication.

“They’re new takes on string theory and chaos theory, but more mystical.”

Jaden’s eyebrow-raising opinions have made headlines before, most recently in his interview with GQ. The son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith told the men’s mag that he was building a pyramid in his parents’ backyard and seemed to compare himself to famed Italian astronomer and scientist Galileo.

“I don’t think I’m as revolutionary as Galileo, but I don’t think I’m not as revolutionary as Galileo,” he told the publication.

Elsewhere in the interview, he also hinted that he and younger sister Willow’s unconventional beliefs were their way of conducting tests on “humanity”, and he mentioned plans to disappear in ten years’ time: “no one will know who I’m with. No one will know what I’m doing. I’ve been planning that since I was like 13.”

However, Jaden’s pal told Us Weekly the teen hopes to gain a “spiritual following” after releasing his book, and he’ll have otherworldly contributors helping him put the essays together.

“Jaden thinks he has spiritual ties to people in other dimensions and galaxies, and they are helping him write,” says Us Weekly’s source.
