Last night the former Friends star appeared on an episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls, a survival skills reality television series.
While trekking through the wilderness of Ireland, the actress admitted that she has had plastic surgery which she regrets.
“Getting older is not the easiest thing. But I have learned lessons, “Courtney admitted.
Courtney went on to confess that she has succumbed to the overwhelming pressures of fame, and felt trapped by the struggles of looking young in an industry that places so much importance on youth.
“I was trying to keep up with getting older and trying to chase that. It’s something you can’t keep up with.”
Courtney did not confirm which exact surgeries she has had, but that she has some regrets about the procedures which had permanent results.
“Sometimes you find yourself trying and then you look at a picture of yourself and you go ‘oh god, I look horrible. I have done things that I regret and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away. So that’s good because it’s not always been my best look.”
She then revealed how she has been hurt by the negative comments in the media about her appearance.
“I don’t feel burdened by it, but people can be mean on social media,” Courtney confessed. “Now I have a new motto: Let it be.”
