We’ve long been admirers of the Hemsworth gene pool. Especially since it was brought to our attention that there are actually three, not two, wonderful actor siblings.
And after Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram to wish his dad a happy father’s day this Sunday, he’s revealed exactly where those wonderful genes came from.
Posting an adorable throwback of he and brother Liam paddling with their dad, Chris wrote: “Happy Father’s Day dad! Thanks for taking me surfing every weekend and driving me to football training and athletics training and to friends houses and anywhere and everywhere and for loving mum and us kids so much. Love u #fathersday #legend.”
Fans went wild for the shot, with one joking: “And god created the perfect family.”
Others added: “Even his dad looks hot,” and “the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.”

Meanwhile, Chris’s wife Elsa Pataky posted a gorgeous tribute to her partner – and father of her two children.
“Every day is father’s day, especially when we have a dad like ours!!” the actress wrote alongside a photo of Chris playing with his toddler children.
“Hope all the Australian dads have a great day! Happy Father’s Day/night.”
