More than one famous couple called time on their relationship in 2015, whether it was in a quiet split or a scandalous break up!

Take a look back at all the celebrity lovebirds who split up this year.

After a nine-year relationship and plenty of highs and lows, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick broke up for good in July this year. The couple had weathered plenty of challenges together, but the final straw was said to be the photos of Scott partying with several women on a yacht in Monte Carlo – without Kourtney.

Kiwi radio co-hosts Grant Kereama and Polly Gillespie announced they were splitting up on air in August, but like the true professionals they are, they had nothing but good things to say about each other. “We’re happy, loving and the best of friends. We absolutely love working together – even after getting up at 3am for so many years (and there will be many more!) We are still so committed to our family and our listening family.”

Country music sweethearts Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert shocked many of their fans when they announced they were splitting up in July, after four years of marriage. Blake is currently linked to his fellow The Voice judge Gwen Stefani, who split from her husband Gavin Rossdale this year.

Kaley Cuoco and her tennis pro hubby Ryan Sweeting split up in September after 21 months of marriage, and The Big Bang Theory actress is said to have found a new love in Arrow star Paul Blackthorne.

After 11 years together, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green’s split in August. The couple had been dating since Megan was 18 and have two sons together, Noah and Bodhi.

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn broke up in June after dating for about a year and a half. Before the split everything had seemed perfect for the power couple, with Charlize even describing the actor as the “love of my life” in a previous interview.

After weathering more than one alleged cheating scandal during their relationship, X Factor sweethearts Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards called off their engagement in August. The breakup came shortly after pictures emerged of Zayn cuddling up to a woman while out partying in Thailand, prompting the ex-One Direction singer to post an apology on Twitter.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone fell in love off-screen too, but the adorably named ‘Starfield’ called it quits in October after previously going on a break several months earlier.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their separation in July, just days after celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children,” the former couple said in an official statement.

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Olivier Martinez, in October. The pair’s living arrangement was said to have been a major source of tension, with Halle unable to move to Olivier’s native France due to her custody arrangement with ex-husband Gabriel Aubry.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced they were separating in August this year, after 13 years of marriage. Rumours of Gavin’s affair with the family nanny immediately followed, but Gwen seems to have moved on with new love Blake Shelton.

Mad Men star Jon Hamm and his partner, actress/writer Jennifer Westfeldt, split in September after 18 years together. The former couple first began dating in 1997.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger announced their separation in September with a message that made it clear there were no hard feelings between the pair: “Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other,” Avril wrote on Instagram.
