Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, both 44, have reportedly decided to give their marriage another shot, People are reporting.
“Jen has called off the divorce,” an insider told the publication. “She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try.”
Another source close to the actors revealed they have have put a great deal of work into resolving their marital issues, saying: “There is always a chance of reconciliation. They love each other. They also really, really love their kids, and those kids love their parents."
But before we get ahead of ourselves, the couple apparently aren’t back together just yet. But they're no longer getting divorced, and are allegedly working towards a proper reunion.
Jennifer and Ben, who share children Violet, 11, Seraphina, eight, and Sam, five, announced their plans to divorce just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary.
A month later, explosive reports accused Ben of having an affair with the children’s 28-year-old nanny, Christine Ouzounian.
At the time, Jen was quick to add that the couple’s nanny was not solely responsible for the demise of their marriage.
“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” she said.
“She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes.”
At the time, Ben, 43, called the report “garbage”.
“He’s still the only person who really knows the truth about things. And I’m still the only person that knows some of his truths," Jen said candidly.
“It was a real marriage. It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work.”
Despite separating nearly two years ago, the couple have remained living at their Los Angeles home together for the sake of their three kids.
