Audrey Hepburn's fans definitely didn't hold back during an auction of her personal treasures in London.
More than 200 items of Hepburn's were sold, many of them selling for millions of dollars.
One item which particularly grabbed fans attention was the original Breakfast at Tiffany's script which sold for a huge £632,000 (NZD$1.17m). The script included handwritten notes from Audrey herself.
Other items, among many sold at the auction, were treasures such as a Tiffany bangle from director Steven Spielberg which sold for £332,750, a tiara which was worn by Hepburn during a premiere of The Nun's Story in 1959, a satin sleep mask sold for £6,250 and a Givenchy gown worn in 1963's Charade.
The auction, named Audrey Hepburn, The Personal Collection, was an evening organised by her two sons who were selling over 500 items both online and in live auctions.
Overall, Hepburn's personal treasures sold for over seven times the intended prices.
