Ariana Grande and Big Sean are no longer together after 8 months of dating.
“They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” their reps said in a joint public statement on the breakup.
“We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.”
The duo first went public with their romance at the MTV VMAs in August 2014, where they were spotted holding hands backstage.
Big Sean was previously engaged to Glee star Naya Rivera, while Ariana was linked to The Wanted member Nathan Sykes.
The two were vocal supporters of each other’s work and even collaborated on a few songs together, including Ariana’s ‘Right There’ and Big Sean’s ‘Research’.
