Late night host James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment has quickly become one of the most popular parts of his show, and in his most recent stint behind the wheel, James was joined by none other than megastar Adele!
A teaser for the upcoming clip was recently released online, showing Adele and James having plenty of fun as she belted out her hit tunes ‘Hello’ and ‘Rolling In The Deep’.
Unsurprisingly, the British singer sounds just as amazing performing her off-the-cuff rendition of the songs as she does on her albums.
This will be Adele’s first appearance on The Late Late Show, as well as her first time taking part in ‘Carpool Karaoke’. Previous versions of the segment have included everyone from One Direction to Stevie Wonder.
The music star’s comeback has been nothing short of triumphant, with fans the world over scrambling to get their hands on her latest record 25. The album notched up over 7.4 million in sales in an astonishing six-week period, even with Adele making the rare decision to make 25 unavailable on streaming services.
With the music world conquered, it looks like the fashion industry is next on the star’s path to world domination! According to reports, the 27-year-old is looking to put together a small collection of loungewear aimed at busy mums.
“It’s in the early stages, but she’s been getting input from several designers and working on her own sketches,” a source told Now.
“There will be a few signature pieces, like her favourite winter apparel, the poncho, but mostly it’ll be mix-and-match daywear in neutral tones.”
