The beauty products Tuesday Label’s fashion designer swears by

Biddie Cooksley, Tuesday Label's founder and designer, gives us a sneak peak into her beauty routine.

Founder and designer of Tuesday Label, Biddie Cooksley, talks to Beauty To Love about her favourite beauty products – including the skincare brand she swears by and perfumes she uses on rotation.

SKINCARE:

A couple of years ago I upgraded all of my skincare to Ultraceuticals and it’s honestly been the best thing – especially as I approach 40.

I’d been going through a bit of a sensitive-skin phase and liked the way you can start fairly neutral, then slowly increase to more active ingredients.

I now use Ultraceuticals’ Ultra Brightening Foaming Cleanser morning and night, layering up with Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF30 during the day.

At night, I use their Ultra A Perfecting Eye Cream, Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum and Ultra Moisturiser Cream.

HAIRCARE:

I have naturally curly hair, so unless I’m swimming regularly, a blow-dry finish is a must. I love Redken’s Pillow Proof Blow Dry Primer as it reduces drying time and works as a heat-protectant.

To style, I use my fave Redken Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing Spray for a messy look.

FRAGRANCE:

I really like the idea of having a life-long signature scent, but the fashion lover in me just can’t cope without updating to the new!

On current high rotation is Gucci Bloom; I covet everything designer Alessandro Michele puts his hand to, so it was an easy must-have, plus the bottle is super cute. I also like Karen Walker’s Runaway – the cardamom essence is mesmerising.

MAKE-UP:

I’m happiest with natural skin and use Rimmel’s BB Cream daily instead of foundation.

I like that there’s a decent amount of colour in it but it’s still really thin to apply so it just seems to disappear rather than sit on the surface. And it’s such a bargain!

This helps balance out my love affair with YSL’s Touche Eclat Face Highlighter Pen, a must for disguising tired eyes.
