Duchess Meghan sure knows how to charm her public!

Last night the Duchess of Sussex delivered an empowering speech that commended New Zealand for being the first country in the world to grant women the right to vote, but it wasn’t just her powerful words on feminism and equality that impressed audiences, it was Meghan’s attempt at Te Reo Māori!

In the above video you’ll see Duchess Meghan warmly thank the guests at Government House – including Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Simon Bridges and Governor-General Dame Patsy Reddy – for having herself and Harry, she then greeted the crowd in Te Reo!

We think Meghan did a pretty good job for a first-timer, after all, Te Reo isn’t the easiest language for foreigners to speak!
