My beauty philosophy is… a quote from poet Walt Whitman: “Keep your face always towards the sunshine and shadows will fall behind you.” In other words, a smile will go a long way.
The skincare products I can’t live without are… Trilogy Rosehip Oil, Kiehl’s Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate, Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Oil, Dermalogica Multivitamin Hand & Nail Treatment, and Clinique Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliating Cream.
My haircare secret is… my hair is as fine as it comes but also fairly wild. I find that Kevin Murphy Luxury Wash keeps it smooth and well-conditioned, yet doesn’t weigh it down. And I couldn’t live without my GHDs – they’re a daily life-saver.
The must-have products in my make-up bag are… MAC Strobe Liquid, Chanel Vitalumière Foundation, Shiseido Bronzer, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara, MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy, and Bobbi Brown blush.
My favourite beauty treat is… a full body massage or reflexology, and head massages at the hair salon.
My biggest beauty sin is… probably spending too much time in the sun, although I never step outside without sunscreen. I absolutely love lying on the beach and swimming in the sea – it’s my happy place.
The best thing my mother taught me about beauty was… to start looking after my skin early by adopting a good regime and to always wash my make-up off at night and wear sunscreen.
